About Poon Hill Trek
Gorepani trekking is a great opportunity to see the beauty of the Annapurna area in a short trek. This place is rich in hidden treasures of Nepalese culture and tradition. During trekking, the trail is a charming village of Gurung and Magal, a family of world-famous Gorkha warriors, dense rhododendrons (Nepal's national flower), oak forest full of birds, green hills, patchwork Pass through the valley. Almost every angle gives you a glimpse of the charm of the mountain. The range of fishtail (6,993m), Annapurna (8,091m) and Dauragiri (8,167) in the first part of the tour is breathtaking. On an excursion to Panhill, you can observe the entire mountain range. Covering red and pink rays of the sun in full bloom at sunset and sunrise

Arrive in Kathamndu after transfer to the Trekkers Home. Brief introduction about trekking.
Drive to Pokhara about 200km by Tourist Bus through good scenery of River and countryside. Check in to the Hotel. Free afternoon on your own. Take a walk around Lakeside or you can do boating at fewa lake.
After Breakfast an hour drive to Nayapul (50km). Then start your Trek about 20 minutes to Birethati, a prosperous town beside the Modi River. Again heading your Trek to hille, then Trek to a large Magar Village called Ulleri. After Ulleri the trail crosses a stream and then ascends steeps.
After Breakfast start your Trek crosses a stream (Bhurungdi Khola) on a suspension bridge, Above the village where the trail climbs gently through pastures and cultivated fields, through rhododendron and oak forests then reach to Nangethanti. You can have lunch or short rest. Again Trek to Ghorepani through the forest. This day you will trek about 5-6 hrs.
Wake up early morning then at 4am an hour hike to Poonhill (3195m) with the help of your stick & flash light. Where you can enjoy with Panoramic Mountain Views & beautiful Sunrise View from your Eye lavel. Then after an hour Trek down to Ghorepani and have Breakfast then start your 6 hrs Trek to Tadapani. Tadapani means, ?Far water?. Water supply in this village from long distance.The trail climbs along ridges and through pine and rhododendron forests to Deurali. We descend to reach Banthanti, before winding our way to Tadapani.
Trek start to Ghandruk after the Breakfast. After 4hrs descent Trek to Big Gurung Village called Ghandruk. It is the most interesting tribal Gurung village in Nepal, which provides Gorkha soldiers. It has excellent close -up views of Annapurna South, Machhapurchhe and Himachuli. There is an ACAP office that provides information about its different activities.
Today is the last day of this Trek. After Breakfast Trek to kimche and take taxi from kimche to Pokhara about 2-5hrs.
Drive back to Pokhara to Kathmandu by tourist bus about 7 hours journey.
